ON SUNNY DEOL’S BIRTHDAY, ‘SURYAA: ANT SE AARAMBH TAK’ TEASER UNLEASHES HIS NEVER-SEEN-BEFORE AVATAR AS HE TAKES ON CORRUPTION WITHIN THE MEDICAL SYSTEM
Torn between his past and present, Sunny Deol sets out to uncover a shocking truth in the intense crime thriller — ‘Suryaa अंत से आरंभ तक’

Mumbai, 19 October 2026: On the occasion of Sunny Deol’s birthday, the makers of SURYAA have given fans a special treat by unveiling the film’s gripping teaser, presenting the actor in one of his most intense and dramatically different avatars yet.

Sunny Deol also took to social media to share the teaser with his fans, accompanied by a powerful caption that hints at the journey awaiting audiences. “THEY THOUGHT IT WAS HIS END. FOR SURYAA, IT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING. 🔥” he wrote, adding, “Aap sab ke naam aaj SURYAATeaser 🙏 Dekhiye. Sochiye. Satark Rahiye aur Aggar kuch galat ho toh ladiye!”

The teaser arrives after the film’s motion poster received an enthusiastic response from audiences and Sunny Deol fans, with his rugged, weathered appearance, restrained intensity and piercing expression becoming an immediate talking point. With the teaser, the makers now open up the world behind that striking first look and reveal that there is far more to SURYAA than meets the eye.

Opening against the backdrop of a deeply personal loss, the teaser establishes a man carrying the scars of his past before pulling him into a disturbing chain of events connected to the medical system. What initially appears to be personal soon begins to reveal something far bigger, as SURYAA starts questioning what others have accepted and uncovers a shocking truth buried beneath a seemingly legitimate system.

The teaser itself declares that the film is “Inspired by unbelievable true events”, before pointing audiences towards the “shocking truth of our medical system”, immediately establishing the darker territory the film intends to explore.

At the centre of it all is Sunny Deol in a markedly different space. The familiar power remains, but this time it is accompanied by grief, vulnerability, silence and an investigative instinct. The teaser moves between moments of emotional breakdown, discovery and confrontation before building towards the force audiences associate with the actor, giving a glimpse of a man who is not merely fighting an enemy, but taking on an entire system.

From Sunny studying what appears to be a crucial medical document to unsettling hospital imagery, syringes, violence and a series of increasingly dangerous confrontations, the teaser steadily expands the scale of the mystery. Ravi Kishan also makes a strong appearance, while Pragya Jaiswal is glimpsed as the film broadens its emotional and dramatic world.

Director M. Padmakumar says,

“For SURYAA, we wanted to show Sunny sir in a space that audiences have not experienced him in before. His character is carrying enormous pain from his past, but it is that very pain that pushes him towards the truth. The teaser begins with something deeply personal and gradually opens the door to a much larger and disturbing reality within the medical system. Sunny sir has brought tremendous restraint, vulnerability and intensity to the character. The action and confrontation are important, but the real strength of SURYAA lies in the man behind them and why he refuses to stop asking questions.”

The film’s evocative tagline, “अंत से आरंभ तक”, takes on greater meaning through the teaser, suggesting a story where what appears to be an ending may actually become the beginning of a much larger investigation.

With SURYAA, Sunny Deol moves between two worlds: a past he cannot escape and a present that forces him to act. As the two collide, his search for answers puts him on a collision course with forces determined to keep the truth buried.

The teaser also gives audiences their first broader glimpse into the film’s combination of emotion, investigation, conspiracy and action, while deliberately holding back the complete nature of the truth SURYAA eventually uncovers.

SURYAA also stars Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Tanushree Chakraborty, Manish Wadhwa, Tinu Anand, Virti Vaghani, Jisshu Sengupta, Khalid Siddiqui, Anoop Trivedi and Rohit Tiwari.

Directed by M. Padmakumar, Kamal Mukut’s SURYAA is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hemmant Mukut and Lokesh Mukut under the MM Moviez banner. Music is on Zee Music Company.
